Who am I?

The short answer:: I am Christopher Joseph Robinson; I retired from the Canadian Air Force in 1993 after twenty years of service. I was a pilot. My friends in Sudbury, Ontario nick-named me "Cap'n Chris" when they first established a F.I.R.E. House in that fair city.

What do I do?

These days, I am occupied with many activities. A few of them are listed here:

I am a member of A People of Peace Community and I serve them as needed as I am able.
I welcome visitors to my home and look after a household for young men.
I am the Webmaster for the Olive Leaf web-site.
I work with Army Cadets! What an awesome way to reach out to our youth. I am on staff with the 553 Sgt Tommy Prince MM Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps here in Winnipeg and during the summer I serve as a Music Instructor @ Penhold Air Cadet Summer Training Centre near Red Deer, Alberta.

What is Saint Michael's F.I.R.E. House?

Saint Michael's F.I.R.E. House is my home; I share it with young men who have a desire to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their daily lives.

Why Saint Michael?

I chose Saint Michael as our patron because he is the universal patron of the Church established by Christ Jesus our Lord. Saint Michael will rise up to strengthen the faithful at the end of the world and at the time of the Antichrist when the bad angels will try to corrupt and mislead everyone into apostasy from God. But at that time shall Michael rise up, the great prince who stands for the children of thy people: and at that time shall thy people be saved . . .(Daniel 12:1)

What does F.I.R.E. mean?

F.I.R.E. stands for the words Faith, Intercession, Repentance, and Evangelization. I were inspired by the F.I.R.E. rallies given by the F.I.R.E. Team lead by Ralph Martin of Renewal Ministries.
